Who We Are

Francis Gouillart is President and one of the two founders of the Experience Co-Creation Partnership. He is considered one of the leading authorities on the topic of strategy, transformation and capabilities-building. He is a sought-after public speaker, lecturer and advisor on experience co-creation. He works across the United States, Europe and Asia, and has worked in most industries, with a particular expertise in agricultural products, cement, chemicals, insurance, office equipment, paper and professional services.

Francis is co-author (with James Kelly) of the book Transforming the Organization (McGraw-Hill, 1995), which reached the top of BusinessWeek’s bestseller list in 1995. He is also co-author (with Frederick Sturdivant) of the Harvard Business Review article "Spend a Day in the Life of Your Customers" (January 1994). He also authored the book Stratégie pour une Enterprise Compétitive (Editions Economica, 1989) which was named "Best Strategy Book of the Year" by the French Association of Strategic Planners (AFPLANE) in 1989. Francis has been widely quoted in the Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek and Fortune, among other publications, and has been featured on CNBC.

Francis is currently working with global management consulting firm PRTM to use co-creation concepts and methods to transform enterprise operations and business models across industries globally. Francis comments on co-creation trends on his personal blog, The Co-Creation Effect.

Frederique Bouty is Vice President of ECC Partnership. She leads the firm’s activities in France. Frederique is a seasoned strategy practitioner with more than 20 years of management advisory and entrepreneur experience. She has worked with the ECC Partnership since its founding, leading client workshops and training sessions.

Previously, Frederique co-founded Emergence Consulting with Francis Gouillart, a strategy consulting firm specializing in the Balanced Scorecard and working in liaison with Harvard Business School Professor David Norton. She also co-founded Adventis, a telecommuni-cations-focused strategy consulting firm, where she advised clients such as HP, BellSouth and Sprint. From 1984 to 1992, she was part of Mercer Management Consulting in Paris. Frederique holds an MBA from EAP-ESCP. She is based in Lyon, France, and Park City, Utah.

Edward Prewitt is Research and Editorial Director at ECC Partnership. He has been an editor and writer for numerous business publications, including Fortune magazine, Harvard Management Update, MIT Sloan Management Review, and CIO magazine, where he was an Executive Editor. Previously he was a case study writer for Harvard Business School. He is a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School and Duke University.
